Hazelnut & Roasted Quinoa ChocolatesFor these yummy chocolates I used the recipe for my Paleo Crunch Bars but I used roasted quinoa instead of corn flake cereal. Roasted quinoa has a wonderful flavor, and crunch. To roast the quinoa I mixed 1 cup of uncooked quinoa with enough simple coconut sugar syrup to coat. Preheat oven to 325. Pour onto a parchment lined sheet pan and smooth out as thin as possible. Roast for 10 minutes and then turn the pan around to ensure even cooking. Continue to cook another 10-15 minutes. Once it cools it should have the same texture as brittle. Chop the roasted quinoa and stir into the candy bar filling.
